For Niagara Health’s cardiovascular technologists, having dependable, up-to-date equipment makes a meaningful difference. Thanks to the generosity of Niagara Health Foundation donors,  Niagara Health patients now have access to new stress test equipment that is helping healthcare teams provide more reliable and efficient cardiac care.

The Oncology department at Niagara Health cares for hundreds of patients every year and was grateful to receive five new sleeper beds, thanks to the amazing generosity of Rankin Cancer Run participants. These fold-out sleepers, which can serve as a chair or a bed, provide a small source of comfort for family members during an unfathomable time.

Thanks to the generosity of Niagara Health Foundation donors, we are excited to share that a new Ultrasound Machine has been purchased for Niagara Health’s Emergency Department. Niagara Health Foundation raised over $60,000 dollars to purchase this piece of equipment. It helps provide clear and reliable images during life-saving procedures and in central line insertions.

The Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Niagara Health performs over 1000 joint replacements and fracture repairs each year. To meet the ever-growing need for these procedures, Niagara Health Foundation donors have raised $180,000 to purchase a brand-new orthopaedic surgery table.

Thanks to our amazing community of Niagara Health Foundation donors, our local hospitals recently purchased 38 new cystoscopes to replace aging equipment.
