Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride Launches New Merchandise Collection with Calhoun’s

Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride is proud to announce the launch of the Niagara’s Big Move Collection; a brand-new line of apparel and cycling gear created in partnership with longtime ride supporter Calhoun Sportswear.
The collection features a variety of hoodies and cotton and performance t-shirts in multiple designs and colours, as well as branded cycling shorts and bib shorts, giving riders, volunteers, supporters, and families a new way to show their Big Move pride.
Most importantly, 100% of proceeds from every item sold are donated directly back to Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride in support of patient care initiatives at the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
“Calhoun has been a long-standing champion of Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership,” says Holly Calvert, Events Manager at the Niagara Health Foundation. “From their unwavering commitment to fundraising and introducing new revenue opportunities, to their expertise as our go-to merchandise gurus, Calhoun’s impact is felt across every part of the ride. Calhoun owner Marty Myers has been participating in the ride since 2009, combining his passion for cycling with a deep commitment to local healthcare. Over 17 years of participation, the Calhoun team has raised more than $116,000 for the Walker Family Cancer Centre and will be inducted into the Premier Peddlers Club this September for surpassing the $100,000 fundraising milestone.
Since 2008, Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride has raised more than $7 million in support of local cancer care. On September 13, hundreds of riders will gather at White Meadows Farms to take part in 14K, 25K, 50K, and 75K routes through scenic Pelham before returning for a BBQ lunch, live music, and celebrations.
