For nearly three decades, Stuart Lyall’s book My Kids Are Gonna Be Rich, Your Kids Too! has helped families think differently about their financial future. After surviving head and neck cancer, that same book has a new purpose.

In 2025, Stuart was diagnosed with head and neck cancer after what began as an ordinary trip to the dentist. Following his diagnosis, Stuart underwent extensive cancer surgery that lasted approximately 10 hours, followed by 11 days in intensive care.

Throughout his recovery, Stuart was surrounded by a dedicated team of physicians, surgeons and nurses who provided exceptional care, compassion and support at every stage of his journey. Their skill and unwavering commitment helped him through an incredibly challenging time and gave him a gift that means more than words can express: the chance to spend more time with the people he loves and continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Today, Stuart is giving back by dedicating a portion of the proceeds from his book sales to the Walker Family Cancer Centre, helping support the care that made such a profound difference in his own life.
