The goal of the Rankin Cancer Run is to raise much needed funding in support of cancer care programs in our community.

Calling all golfers, on June 6th Rockway Vineyards Golf course is hosting the Fight Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament in celebration of survivor Tony Lucciola. Tony and his family have came together in celebration and to raise awareness, establishing the Fight Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament in the Niagara Region (FPC Golf). All proceeds that are generated from this amazing event will be donated to the Walker Family Cancer Centre’s Prostate Clinic at Niagara Health Foundation.

Come on out for a great day on the greens to show your support for individuals, like Tony, affected by Prostate Cancer.

The Niagara Golf Marathon is a local movement bringing much-needed attention to charities across Niagara. We are doing this by golfing 100 holes in 1 day on June 8th, 2025 at Sawmill Golf and Country Club – yes that’s right, 100 holes in 1 day!

On August 9th, Mayor Jim Diodati is hosting a community BBQ from 12pm-4pm at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Friends, family and neighbours are all invited to come together and enjoy family oriented games, interactive exhibits, live entertainment and BBQ. NHF will be on-site collecting donations for the South Niagara Site.

Once again this year, the Plain Bay Polo Club will be hosting its annual ”Polo for Health” on August 30th. This event features multiple polo matches, exclusive brunch, raffles, entertainment and more. All donations from this event will be graciously donated to the Children’s Health Unit at Niagara Health.

We are excited to host the 18th annual event in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Join hundreds of Niagara residents as they take to the roads of Pelham for the Big Moves 25K, 50K, 75K or 14K Fun Ride.

Whether you are riding in celebration of a cancer survivor, in support of a cancer patient, or in memory of a loved one lost, riders and donors can take pride in knowing that every dollar raised supports local cancer care.

Mercy 4 Mankind and Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association have teamed together to put on their first event in the Niagara region, Run for Niagara. Participants can choose to walk 2km or run 5km in support of the Niagara Health Foundation.

Light of Day Canada Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and Care began in 2007 with our first show at the old NFCVI auditorium in Niagara Falls to 400 people. This year Tim Hicks, Steven Olsen, and other artists will be performing at the Meridian Centre on November 7th in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre & Hotel Dieu Shaver Parkinson’s Rehab Clinic.
