Donors received our 2021 Spring Newsletter in April. Inside, you will meet Simon, who was in the hospital with serious heart complications, and all he wanted to do was dance with his daughter at her upcoming wedding. You will meet Richard, a COVID-19 patient that “had given up and was not afraid to die.” Through the excellent care of the ICU staff, Richard returned to his home in Fort Erie after more than a month in the hospital. You will learn about the life-saving Cardiac Care Unit staff, how a 3rd MRI will shape healthcare in Niagara, and how vital non-invasive diagnostic tools like ultrasound machines are. Lastly, you will see a few community groups that stepped up for local healthcare like Phil and the Plain Bay Polo Club, Rotary Niagara International and all those who have supported The Big Move Cancer Ride.
