When Jennifer came to the St. Catharines Site emergency room in 2021, she was very scared. She had chest pains, and her blood pressure was very high, so she didn’t want to take any chances. After assessing her, the ER doctor concluded that she was okay but offered to connect her with the cardiologist on call, Dr. Haynen, just to be on the safe side.

Dr. Haynen was incredibly kind, and while nothing suggested that Jennifer was at immediate risk of having a heart attack, he wanted to be sure, so he ordered an echocardiogram and a stress test for Jennifer. “The stress test machine was brand new, and the staff was super nice.”

The best part was that Jennifer’s test results confirmed that she is in good health and at low risk of having a heart attack. “It put my mind at ease, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Dr. Haynen and everyone involved in my care.
