Thank You 2015 Celebration of Lights Donors

January 15, 2016

We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who made a gift in honour or in memory of someone special through our 2015 Celebration of Lights Campaign holiday campaign.
Proceeds from this year’s campaign will be used to purchase new Vital Signs Monitors across all Niagara Health System sites. These monitors were identified as ‘high priority’ because they are routinely used in the care of virtually every patient. The equipment monitors vital signs such as pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and temperature, helping to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
“Vital Signs Monitors are important in the day-to-day care of our patients,” says Sophia Clayton-Arana, NHS Clinical Manager, Outpatient Clinics and Heart Investigation Unit. “The specialized monitors continuously track a patient’s condition and alert our care providers when vital signs change. They’re really an extension of our healthcare team at the bedside of our patients.”
Thank you to all Celebration of Lights donors for contributing to strong hospitals and good health. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference to patient care across Niagara Health System sites.
