Strands of “Girl Power” for the Walker Family Cancer Centre
June 25, 2015
A group of grade 4 students from Richmond Street Public School in Thorold decided that they wanted to raise money for cancer patients. So, they approached their Vice Principal asking for permission to sell hand-made bracelets for 0.25 cents and 0.50 cents each.
Their beautiful creations were quite popular as they had to make “a lot” of bracelets and raised a total of $125 for the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
Thank you for this thoughtful donation girls!
