Andrea Scott, Interim President & CEO, Niagara Health Foundation
“On behalf of Regional Council, I am pleased to be taking part in the annual Celebration of Lights Campaign in support of the Niagara Health Foundation. As we all know, the work done by the Niagara Health Foundation provides critical funding for the equipment, programs and projects that Niagara’s residents rely on in their times of need. This year, I encourage residents to not only participate in the lighting ceremony virtually, but also to consider supporting the Celebration of Lights Campaign should they have the means to do so.”
Jim Bradley, Chair, Niagara Region
“We are delighted to partner with the Niagara Health Foundation in launching their 2020 Celebration of Lights Campaign with a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Welland Civic Square. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This might not ring truer than after the year we have had. 2020 has been a year to remember, but now we get to celebrate the holidays and give back to our community and to one another! The Celebration of Lights Campaign helps raise donations for the Niagara Health Foundation and we are proud to have our tree sparking with lights as one of the supporting communities!”
Mayor Jim Diodati, Niagara Falls

“While we continue to celebrate in different ways than we have in the past, I am looking forward to getting into the holiday spirit and helping flick the switch to launch Niagara Health Foundation’s Celebration of Lights campaign. We are honoured to partner with the foundation to help light up the tree at City Hall this year, not only supporting the work of Niagara Health, but also recognizing our frontline heroes. This year the tree will truly take on new meaning as a beacon of hope for our community.”
Mayor Walter Sendzik, City of St. Catharines
