Long-time volunteers recognized by province

March 22, 2018

It’s been said that “volunteers are the heart of our community” and we couldn’t agree more!
On March 20th several of our loyal Foundation volunteers were recognized with an Ontario Volunteer Service Award at a special ceremony held at John Michael’s Banquet Centre in Thorold.
The award acknowledges individuals for providing committed and dedicated service to a single organization by the length of time they’ve volunteered, ranging from five to 65 years of continuous service. The recipients are given a stylized trillium service pin and a personalized certificate to acknowledge their years of service.
Congratulations to an incredible group of volunteers for their dedication to healthcare
in our community.

The following volunteers were recognized (appearing left to right in photo):
Linda Hamm, 25 years
Robert Beach, 15 years
Carole Price, 20 years
Joseph Maggiolo, 10 years
Ron Matsushita, 10 years (absent)
Thanks for all that you do year after year!
