June 01, 2018

Niagara Falls Comedy Fest is pleased to announce that the 11th annual Komedy for Kidneys Rodney Pentland Memorial Benefit Show (Komedy for Kidneys) held March 7th at the Greg Frewin Theatre raised $11,522.34 in support of Dialysis Care in Niagara.

Event organizers were extremely excited to learn that proceeds from the 2017 and 2018 event had funded the purchase of a dialysis machine for Niagara Health's Niagara Falls Kidney Care Centre!
“Komedy for Kidneys is a fun event my staff and I look forward to every year,” enthused Niagara Health Foundation President and CEO, Roger D. Ali. “Not only do they have us laughing on the night of the event, our smiles continue year-round knowing that they are making a difference for patients of our Kidney Care program. Last year alone, there were over 69,000 visits to our Dialysis and Renal Clinics across Niagara.”
The two-hour show was headlined by Jeremy Hotz, and featured Jason Allen, Laurie Elliott, Jeff McEnery, Tony Molesworth, and Mark Matthews.
The 12th annual Komedy for Kidneys Rodney Pentland Memorial Benefit Show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Greg Frewin Theatre.
