Knights Fight Cancer at the Big Move Cancer Ride
September 12, 2017
Ang Climenhage from OneFoundation (back row, far right) thanks Michael Agrette (back row, 2
nd from right), his family, friends and team mates for supporting the Walker Family Cancer Centre at our
Big Move Cancer Ride on Sunday, September 10
th.
Michael, who is a patient at the cancer centre, has been raising funds through
special edition hockey jerseys as pictured above. The bright and cheery jerseys are not only a fashionable addition to one’s wardrobe, they also help fund advanced equipment and technology at the cancer centre so patients like Michael receive the best possible care. So far, a total of $4,170 has been raised through sales.
Michael also rode in the Big Move Cancer Ride this year as Captain of team “Knights Fight Cancer/99 Hockey.net.” The team raised nearly $6,000 at the ride making the group’s total contribution to cancer care at
Niagara Health almost $10,000!
Thank you Michael and team for your incredible dedication!
