Kids Ultimate Challenge Climbs to New Heights

June 08, 2015

They leapt hurdles, jumped through hoops, climbed hay mountains, swung over a giant pit of mud, got soaked by firemen…and had fun doing so at the 2015 Kids Ultimate Challenge supporting the Children’s Health Unit at the Niagara Health System!

A record 700 kids took part in the 1K obstacle challenge fundraiser on Sunday, June 7 at Burgoyne Woods, almost tripling the crowd from the inaugural event in 2013. The group also set a new fundraising record, helping to exceed the goal of $25,000 by raising over $38,000 – nearly matching the amount raised in the first two years combined.

Thank you to the 100 Volunteers, numerous Sponsors, and to all Challengers and their families for participating and donating. Your enthusiasm for the event and support of the Children’s Unit means so much. We hope to see you next year!

Special note to Kids Ultimate Challengers: Thank you for tackling the 1K obstacle course…we hope you had a blast! Also, big thanks for raising money in support of the Children’s Unit at the hospital…kids helping kids!
