Hernder Picasso’s Foundation Tees Up for Cancer Care

July 14, 2015

Hernder Picasso’s Foundation held its 5th annual charitable golf tournament presented by Performance Mercedes-Benz on June 1st at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club.  Thanks to the help of event sponsors and participating golfers, over $61,000 was raised for the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
Members of the organizing committee came by the cancer centre on July 14th with event proceeds and visited the Radiation Therapy Waiting Area, named in honour of Hernder Picasso’s Foundation for their $250,000 pledge commitment to cancer care in Niagara.

With expertise in the wine and beauty industries, the group has been creatively fundraising through initiatives ranging from makeover soirees and golf tournaments to special edition wines that help raise awareness and funds for a cause that is near and dear to their hearts.
Next up is the Foundation’s infamous Halloween party on October 31st taking place at Hernder Estate Wines.
