A big win for the cancer centre at the annual Cuthbert Cup

May 09, 2016

The 3rd annual Cuthbert Cup, a friends and family hockey tournament, had their biggest year yet raising $5,651 for the Walker Family Cancer Centre! The tournament is held in loving memory of Linda Cuthbert who had a strong love for the game and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Organizers Matt & Michelle Cuthbert wanted to honour Linda and felt that a friendly day of fun on the ice was fitting. Last year they brought the tournament to Port Colborne where Linda grew up and played hockey as a young woman.

Thank you to Matt & Michelle, participants and supporters for helping to strengthen local cancer care services in Niagara for patients and their loved ones. To date, $9,276 has been raised!
