Congratulations St. Catharines Hospital Auxiliary for 150 years of dedicated service to the Niagara Health System

March 16, 2015

This year, the St. Catharines Hospital Auxiliary members are celebrating 150 years of dedicated service. They are the oldest auxiliary in Canada and it is certainly a point of pride for our hospital to have the country’s longest serving hospital auxiliary.

On Monday, March 16, 2015 the OneFoundation helped celebrate the members at their annual general meeting where they presented the OneFoundation with a donation of $200K. To date, this amazing group of auxilians has donated over $1,450,000.00 to the Niagara Health System. Their commitment to the patients of our hospital is unquestioned!

On hand to say thank you from the Niagara Health System was Derek McNally, Executive Vice President and Clinical Services & Chief Nursing Executive. “Your auxiliary is an integral part of the history and success of our hospital”. Also on hand to say thank you was OneFoundation representative, Tom Mountain and President Paulanne Jushkevich.
