COVID-19: A Message For President & CEO Roger Ali

March 20, 2020

A Message From Our
President & CEO Roger Ali

March 18, 2020

COVID-19 is a topic currently impacting us all in one way or another. During these difficult times, I wanted to reach out to our valued donors to let you know Niagara Health is fighting for you and your loved ones - every day.

As someone who has experienced Extraordinary Care at Niagara Health, I am thankful the healthcare teams of physicians, nurses and other medical professionals are working around the clock to attend to our family, friends and neighbours.

This week Niagara Health is taking a number of steps to bring hope and help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 global pandemic. This includes limiting points of entry/exit at each site, conducting screening of everyone at all entrances and implementing visitor restrictions to ensure we keep our staff and patients safe.

In addition, Niagara Health has launched two COVID-19 assessment centres for the Niagara region. These centres will ensure potential cases are seen promptly and help reduce the impact on the Emergency Department.

Protecting our communities is a shared responsibility at a time like this. As a valued donor, you can help us by making a donation to support urgently needed medical equipment, such as beds, ventilators and life saving equipment. Being able to purchase critically needed equipment will save lives and make a difference for someone we know.

Now more than ever, we need to support our local hospitals and healthcare teams.

Remember to practice social distancing, regular hand washing and help your family, neighbours and friends. If you have any questions, please email the Foundation here.

With deep gratitude for your continued support,

Roger Ali
