À Votre Santé! – To Your Health! OneFoundation presents ‘Springtime in Paris’ in support of the NHS Surgical Program

February 29, 2016

OneFoundation for Niagara Health System is pleased to present the Springtime in Paris Gala on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the elegant Sheraton on the Falls in Niagara Falls.
Inspired by the iconic city that lures people the world over with its romance and charms, this Parisian-themed fundraising event will be an occasion not to be missed. With Spring on the horizon and the ‘City of Lights’ as the muse, it’s the perfect time to break free of the winter season and celebrate the elegance associated with the French culture.
Proceeds from the evening will be directed to the Niagara Health System Surgical Program.  With a range of inpatient and outpatient services offered at the NHS Greater Niagara General (Niagara Falls), St. Catharines and Welland Sites, the program provides life-saving, close-to-home care for more than 24,000 patients across Niagara each year.
Technological advancements and the development of non-invasive surgical procedures are continuously changing the scope of surgical care at NHS.  The community’s role in supporting these advancements is crucial in keeping the program well-equipped.
“With the support of our community, we have been able to provide best practice surgical techniques and at times be on the leading edge with new procedures supported by advanced technology,” says Patty Welychka, NHS Director of the Surgical Program.  “Our team is skilled and talented, however, they can provide more timely and accurate diagnosis with current and up to date equipment.  This is where the community comes in and we can’t thank our supporters enough for helping to equip our medical professionals with the tools they need to provide high quality, safe patient care.”
Joe Maggiolo, Chair of OneFoundation’s Board of Directors, invites the community to join the celebration for an important cause.  “This year’s gala supporters are helping to provide thousands of Niagara residents with advanced surgical care at our local hospitals by funding essential equipment.  We look forward to hosting our guests for a memorable evening as we come together for the greater good of local healthcare.”
Approximately 300 guests are expected at the Springtime in Paris Gala and reservations are still available.  For more information about the event and to reserve a seat, click here or call 905-323-FUND (3863).
