Mayor's Invitational Grape Stomp

JCI St. Catharines Mayors’ Invitational Grape Stomp

The Mayors’ Invitational Grape Stomp takes place during the first weekend of of the the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival.  The event is a partnership with the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, Grape Growers of Ontario, JCI St. Catharines and Skycomp Solutions.

he Grape Stomp continues the tradition of Niagara Mayors coming together to raise awareness for community issues during the festival. From 2015 to 2017, the Mayor’s Invitational Grape Stomp collected donations for area food banks.  In 2018, Niagara’s Mayors worked together to support local cancer organizations and to help stomp out cancer in support of Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati who was being treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This helped raise awareness for cancer care and research right here in Niagara.

In 2019, the proceeds of the Grape Stomp will benefit the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
