Niagara Health Foundation’s 2024 Welland Tailgate Elimination Draw on November 21, 2024, was a record-breaking success, raising over $65,000 for the Welland Hospital! Nearly 240 community members came together, dressed in their favorite football jerseys, to celebrate and support a great cause. The evening coincided with the Cleveland Browns facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers, adding to the football-themed excitement.

The event kicked off with a lively heads-or-tails icebreaker game, where ten lucky attendees won $100 gift cards. Attendees also enjoyed football squares and the thrilling Touchdown Raffle. The Golden Ticket Raffle was another highlight, offering six enticing prizes. Over $10,000 in prizes were given away throughout the evening.

The highlight of the evening was the eagerly awaited Elimination Draw, where the objective was to avoid having your name called. The room buzzed with excitement as guests cheered and held their breath with each announcement, keeping the energy alive until the very end.
