Event Overview

Niagara’s 2025 Big Move Cancer Ride at White Meadows was an incredible success, raising a noteworthy $385,000 in support of the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Now celebrating its 17th year, this iconic event has proudly raised over $7 million to enhance cancer care for families throughout the Niagara Region.

This year, 431 passionate riders came together to tackle one of four scenic routes, 14K, 25K, 50K, or 75K, each offering a unique challenge and stunning views. The day began cool and fresh, warming into a bright, sunny afternoon, ideal weather for riders of all skill levels.

A special highlight of the day was the celebratory sparkling wine toast honoring our Platinum Peddlers, including four new inductees, a dedicated team, and several riders who achieved new milestones. Their commitment is a true reflection of community spirt and determination.

To cap off the event, riders and supporters enjoyed a BBQ lunch accompanied by live music from The Figure Four, whose classic rock covers brought everyone together in celebration.

This unforgettable day was made possible by the hard work of over 150 volunteers, whose enthusiasm and dedication inspired everyone involved. Many riders shared that the volunteers’ encouragement was a highlight that elevated their entire experience.

Niagara’s Big Move Cancer Ride continues to showcase the strength and heart of our community. Together, riders, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and Foundation staff are making a real difference. The funds raised stay local, directly supporting vital medical equipment and advancing the quality of care for patients at the Walker Family Cancer Centre.

Thank you to everyone who pedaled, cheered, and contributed to this life-changing cause. Your commitment drives hope and healing for countless families across Niagara.
